School Board and Local 1010 Reach Agreement

 

VIERA, FLORIDA — The Brevard Public Schools’ (BPS) Negotiating Team reached an agreement with bargaining representatives of The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Local 1010. 

 

Local 1010’s tentative agreement includes a step increase or a onetime salary enhancement for some employees. The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Local 1010 will provide voting information to its bargaining unit personnel within the next two weeks. All employees -- union members or not -- are eligible to vote on whether to accept the proposed contracts. If approved, the contract documents will go before the School Board on Feb. 28.

 

The Brevard Public Schools’ Negotiating Team returns to the bargaining table with the Brevard Federation of Teachers tomorrow evening in hopes of a settlement.
