The 2011 Walk for Education

VIERA – Brevard Future Educators Association (BFEA) will host their 6^th Annual ‘Walk for Education’ on the track at Viera High School on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. Advocates for teachers and education are invited to take part in this free event as a way to highlight and praise the work of great teachers and the education process. 

BFEA is a network of local Future Educator of Association chapters consisting of middle and high school students and chapter advisors.  Their mission is to provide students from diverse backgrounds to think seriously about the teaching profession. Phi Delta Kappa, the Professional Association in Education, is the national parent of the organization.  

For those individuals unable to attend the ‘Walk for Education,’ BFEA is accepting donations in support of this very worthwhile scholarship fundraiser event.  For more information, contact Barbara Davis at 321-633-1000, extension 296.
