Two BPS Schools to Perform at the Florida Music Educators Association Clinic-Conference

VIERA, FLORIDA – Viera High School’s 7th-Hour Jazz Band and Hoover Middle School’s Orchestra have been invited to perform at the 2012 Florida Music Educators (FMEA) Clinic-Conference in Tampa, Florida. FMEA is held in January of each year and has a rich tradition of showcasing only the finest musical performing groups from the state of Florida. The ensembles were selected for this honor by audition.

Viera’s 7th-Hour Jazz Band, under the direction of Nick Eggen, will perform Thursday, January 12 at 12:30 p.m. in the Tampa Convention Center in downtown Tampa, FL. Hoover’s Orchestra, under the direction of Crystal McKinney and Laura Pinfield, will perform Thursday, January 12 at 4:30 p.m. in the Tampa Convention Center. Congratulations to Mr. Eggen and the administration at Viera High School, and to Ms. McKinney, Mrs. Pinfield, and the administration at Hoover Middle for their commitment to excellence.
