For Immediate Release: November 29, 2011Satellite Academy of Fine Arts Information Night
The Satellite Academy of Fine Arts (SAFA) is a Choice Program that provides opportunities for students to pursue their dreams and goals of working in the exciting and important fields of the Fine Arts. SAFA students declare a discipline of emphasis (music, theatre, visual art, digital art, and career and technical education) and enjoy advanced classes with a cross-curricular emphasis. Academic, performance and technical course work prepare students at all levels for the 21st Century Arts Community workplace and post-secondary degree opportunities. SAFA is in its 5th year and confers distinguished diplomas to its graduates. SAFA is academically challenging, performance/technologically sound, and college and career driven. SAFA will be holding the “InfoNight @ Satellite 2012” event for interested students and parents on Tuesday, January 24that 7:00 pm in the Satellite High School Theatre. More information and applications for incoming freshmen and sophomores are available at http://scorpnet.brevard.k12.fl.us/. Applications for SAFA are due February 3.
